This article details the process of making payments on student accounts

Making a payment on my student account

  1. Login to My CTS (https://mycts.covenantseminary.edu) with your seminary email address and password.
  2. Click on My CTS > My Account > My Bill.
  3. Click Make a payment from the left-hand navigation.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your payment.

Third party payments on the student's behalf

Authorize a third party to make a payment

  1. Login to My CTS (https://mycts.covenantseminary.edu) with your seminary email address and password.
  2. Click on My CTS > My Account > My Bill.
  3. Click your name in the left-hand navigation.
  4. Under Payer, click Send a payer invitation.
  5. Fill out the information requested.

This process will send an email to the third party with instructions for logging in and making a payment.

Make a payment on a student's behalf

  1. When the payer receives the invitation, they will be prompted to set up his/her account.
  2. The payer may go to CashNet to make the payment (this link is also located in the footer of https://www.covenantseminary.edu under Make a Payment.
  3. The payer may login with the username/password that they set up.
  4. The payer must then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment.

Guest payments on the student's behalf

Guests are able to make a payment on a student's behalf - if they know the last name and Student ID number. This would require the student to have communicated his or her Student ID number to the payer.

Locate your Student ID

  1. Login to My CTS (https://mycts.covenantseminary.edu) with your seminary email address and password.
  2. Click on My CTS > My Account > My Profile.
  3. Note the Legacy Username listed under Profile. This is the Student ID.

Make a payment as a guest

  1. The payer may then go to CashNet to make the payment (this link is also located in the footer of https://www.covenantseminary.edu under Make a Payment.
  2. The payer must choose Pay as Guest on the CashNet login page.
  3. The payer must type the Last Name and Student ID of the student on whose behalf they wish to pay.
  4. The payer must then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment.

Set up student payment methods within CashNet

Students are able to make payments to their student account in various forms.

  1. Login to My CTS (https://mycts.covenantseminary.edu) with your seminary email address and password.
  2. Click on My CTS > My Account > My Bill.
  3. Click on your name in the left-hand navigation.
  4. Under Payment methods, click Add payment method and fill out the form.

Set up student refund accounts within CashNet

Students are able to setup accounts for direct deposit of funds related to both student account and student loan refunds.

  1. Login to My CTS (https://mycts.covenantseminary.edu) with your seminary email address and password.
  2. Click on My CTS > My Account > My Bill.
  3. Click on your name in the left-hand navigation.
  4. Under Direct deposit refunds, click the edit icon next to the type of refund for which you want to set up direct deposit and fill out the form.

Request a refund from your student account

There may be situations where you require a refund of money paid on your student account.

  1. Login to My CTS (https://mycts.covenantseminary.edu) with your seminary email address and password.
  2. Click Student Portal and login using the same information as in Step 1. Alternatively, you may visit https://portal.covenantseminary.edu/student and login to the Student Portal directly.
  3. Click Student Billing (Legacy) on the left-hand menu.
  4. Click Submit a Check Request.
  5. Fill out the form.


To take advantage of the eRefund option, the student must have set up a refund account within CashNet.
